Joe Torre hit the first REGULAR SEASON home run for the Atlanta Braves in the 5th inning on 4-12-1966. Tommy Aaron hit the first home run for the Braves in Fulton County stadium during an exhibition game in 1965. People make this mistake all the time. I even heard it on the Fox game of the week when they interviewed Torre when the Dodgers were last there.
