Yes. Through games played on August 10, 2009 that has happened at least three times:

1) April 21, 1898: Bill Duggleby of the Philadelphia Phillies.

2) August 31, 2005: Jeremy Hermida of the Florida Marlins.

3) September 2, 2006: Kevin Kouzmanoff of the Cleveland Indians. This HR came on the first pitch he saw.

The three players listed above hit their grand slam home runs in their first MLB at bat.

Actually it has happened 3 times....Bill Duggleby did it in 1898 then in 2005 Jerimy Hermida did it and then in 2006 Kevin Kouzmannoff did it. Only 102 rookies have hit a home run in their first major league appearance at the plate, including the 3 first mentioned, with 22 of them hitting it on their very first pitch....

Tony Lazzeri was the first to hit 2 grand slams in a single game (5-24-1936)

Fernando Tatis was the first to hit 2 grand slams in a single inning. (4-23-1999)

The first person to hit a grand slam in Major League Baseball was Roger Connor, who played for the Troy Trojans. (The Troy Trojans were taken over by the New York Gothams, now the San Fransisco Giants, in 1883.) Charlie Gould hit a grand slam 4 years earlier in the National Association for the Boston Red Stockings, but the National Association is not recognized as a major league.

Actually it has happened 2 times.

Bill Dugglesby in 1898 and in 2005 Jeremy Hermida hit grand slams in their debuts (both in their first at-bat, but not on the first pitch).

In 2006 Kevin Kouzmannoff did it. The second to do it was Daniel Nava, for the Boston Red Sox in 2010.

Only 102 rookies have hit a home run in their first major league appearance at the plate, including the 3 first mentioned, with 22 of them hitting it on their very first pitch.
