Relievers in the game were Bob Moorhead (3 innings, 6 hits, 5 runs), Herb Moford (1 inning, 1 hit, 0 runs), and Clem Labine (1 inning, 1 hit, 1 run). The Mets lost 11-4.

∙ 14y agoLefthander Jerry Koosman, who also was the winning pitcher in Game 2. Koosman pitched 8 innings in game 2, got the win with Ron Taylor picking up the save. Koosman pitched a complete game in Game 5 to win the title for the Mets.

Koosman pitched six innings of no-hit ball and lasted until the ninth, when he yielded to reliever Ron Taylor. Koosman went on to win the world championship clinching Game 5, giving him a 2-0 Series record.
