PAT BOONE's parents were Margaret Pritchard-Booneand Archie Altman Boone, both originally from Florida. Pat's mother was a registered nurse and his father was an architect when they married on October 6, 1932. The couple was expecting their first child to be a girl whom they wanted to name Patricia but, when a son was born, they assigned the nickname 'Pat' to baby Charles Eugene. Their second son, Cecil Altman/'Nick', was born 1 June 1935, on Pat's first birthday; sisters Margie and Judi arrived a few years later. Their parents were in their early nineties and living in Nashville when they passed away in early 2000.
