The Major League Baseball (MLB) 2009 Wild Card race was won by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays of the American League (AL) with a regular season record of 91-71 (.562 winning percentage) and the St. Louis Cardinals of the National League (NL) with a regular season record of 90-72 (.556 winning percentage). Neither team advanced to the 2009 MLB World Series.
