Canada won 14 gold medals in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. However, the United States of America won the most medals overall, with 37 medals in total.

Canada also broke the record for most Winter Games gold medals won in any given year. What is so exciting about this for Canadians is that before 2010, a gold medal had not been won on Canadian soil. In other words, the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games was a huge success for Canadian athletes, breaking many records and setting many firsts. Congrats to all the athletes around the world, good work!
