Alabama. Alabama & Auburn
Mississippi State has not won a National Championship.
Consecutive Heisman winners from the same state but different teams were 1992 Gino Torretta from Miami and 1993 Charlie Ward from Florida State. You can thank Alabama in 1992 from keeping Torretta from the national championship. Ward took Florida State to the championship in 1993 when Auburn went undefeated in the regular season but was on probation.
1996. They beat Alabama 45 to 30 in the SEC Championship and then beat Florida State 52 to 20 in the Sugar Bowl.
State H.Q. of the Alabama National Guard.
That would be Nick Saban, who won a National Championship in 2003 with LSU and in 2009 with Alabama.
Ohio state didn't play in the national championship! Oklahoma and Florida did
1965 (Alabama) and 1966 (Notre Dame) they spilt the national championship and in 1962 they won it outright.

Yes. Only if FSU loses to Duke in the ACC Championship game and Ohio State loses to Michigan State. Alabama should be #4 in tomorrows BCS Standings. So if Auburn beats Mizzou in the SEC Championship, and FSU and OSU both lose, we could possibly see a Alabama vs. Auburn BCS title game. Bama just needs alot of help. But....stranger things have happend.......
