When can you race your horse harvest moon magical melody?

once your horse is an adult and has 2 hearts you can race your horse in the races. This is true, you do only need two hearts for you and your horse to get along. But if you wish to actually even attempt to win a race with your horse, love and training is needed. Take your reigns and walk your horse inside of the barn to the front door. When it exits the barn, do the same. Without having anything equipped, stand next to your horse. Face it, and press x. You should now be riding your horse. Ride it for about 9 hours a day, and every day your horse will get a star in training. Good Luck!

Cost of running a show jumping horse?

Jockeys normally get 10% of the winnings for a race. So, for example, if they win a normal race and the winning prize is $10,000, then they'd get $1,000 for that day. If the race is a $25,000 prize, they'd get $2,500, and so on. Now, for a big race like the Kentucky Derby where the prize for 1st place can be around $2 million, the jockey's portion would be $200,000.
