Mile High Stadium was built in Denver, Colorado and opened on August, 14, 1948. It was closed on December 23, 2000. It was then demolished on April 17, 2002 to make room for a parking lot for Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Mile High Stadium was originally known as Bear Stadium. It was built in Denver, Colorado in 1948 and was originally designed to be a Baseball stadium. It is now used as a home stadium by the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.
