When does the NBA season start?

The 2007/2008 schedule was released last year on August 2nd. We start hearing rumblings about big games (like the traditional Shaq VS Kobe stuff, or Celts vs Lakers) in July, but you are most likely looking at a release during the last week of July or first week of August. Individual team schedules come out around the New Year, I believe. I travel (with friends) to ballparks every year. We're always waiting for the schedules to come out to start planning for the season.
