WWF and WCW had a match, and who ever the loser was agreed to shut down there show (WCW/WWF) and so WWF won so WCW was shut down
Apparently WWE since they bought out WCW and WCW is no longer in business
The McMahons bought it
Vader was a heel in the wwf and also a heel in wcw too.
WCW didn't become WWE, WWF became WWE. Back in the late 1990's-early 2000s, both wrestling promotions WWF and WCW were feuding with each other in the ratings, until WWF bought WCW out and now no longer exists. The reason WWF became WWE is because the World Wildlife Foundation (Also known as WWF) was established 1961, which was before WWWF shortened their name to WWF in 1979. So even though "the company WWE" existed before the World Wildlife Foundation, it changed its name to the World Wildlife Foundation's initials "WWF". So in 2002, the World Wildlife Foundation decided to sue WWF, for the initials which forced the WWF to change its name and it was decided to be from there called World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Basicly it went from WWWF to WWF to WWE. No WCW was involved in the process except the fact that WWF bought WCW out.
Since GoldBerg Was the Face Of Wcw For So Long, And Austin The Face Of WwF, It Was Vince McMahon's Way Of Showing That Wwf Owns Wcw
the one where you got fat
AWA then wcw then wwf and then wwe
No. WWF and WCW were competing in rateings and number of viewrs, but monday night wars was just with them, meaning that "wars" was between WWF superstars (wrestlers) only. It didnt secretly merge with WCW for a script. They were rival brands and wanted the other brand to fall.
i think it was 6 million dollars
The Alliance, which comprised of WCW and ECW. This was a storyline in which the WWE screwed up. It took place after WWE had bought WCW and ECW.
During that time it was announced that Ric Flair and WCW had a contract dispute and Flair was stripped of the title. WCW took the two top contenders and put them in a cage match; barry windham and lex luger. A new title belt was brought in as the WCW World title. Not much was really said about this, but the NWA and WCW separated at the time as well. When Flair entered the WWF with the title there really wasn't any explanation on WCW tv, nor WWF tv except he was the "REAL" World Champion. Flair did leave WCW as world champion, so it was a legit claim. He went to the WWF with the NWA World Title belt. As stated above, WCW had split from the NWA. In early 1991, Ric Flair was actually the WCW and NWA champion after he defeated Sting to win the title back. When he left WCW to go to the WWF, he took the belt because his deposit of $25000 was not returned. After the deposit plus interest was paid, the belt was returned to the NWA where a title tournament was held. Soon after, Flair was wearing another title belt on WWF TV but it was censored. If you looked closely, you could tell that it was not the same belt because it had a blue spot in the middle. The big gold belt was one solid color.
When WCW was bought out by the WWF/E they unified the WCW World Championship and the WWF/E World Championship, creating the Undisputed Championship. Chris Jericho was the First WWE Undisputed Champion.
yeh their enemies just like old times wcw and wwf
WCW was going down the drain with the murger of AOL and Time Warner. Companies were dismissing it (Breaking ther Contracts) all funding was going. Vince Mcmahon saw this and bought WCW. But they had enough respect for WCW that they made this story line that WCW was bought by Shane and they invaded WWF. Altough Vince owned WCW he let them finish in style. So they only invaded as a last story line and it was all controlled by Vince Mcmahon. Summary Vince owned WCW after there fall and made a big going away invasion story line. I hope that helped.
the wwf was always the better company. the wcw might have been just as good but no where near entertaining as the wwf.AnswerThe WCW product from 1997 to 1999 was the best ever! WCW had the best wrestlers. Remember the nWo, the wolfpack, the 4 horsemen, Goldberg's streak. I believe that no wrestling company ever did or ever will deliver a product as great as the WCW product from 1997 to 1999. Answerin terms of ratings wcw was better but in my opinion they were the same. AnswerECW...then WWF...what's this WCW...I don't see it anywhere...oh that's right their gone cause they sucked. AnswerDepends on the fan. I watched WCW for most of my life and watch it fold, but I'm sure the next person to answer will disagree with, WCW being better. AnswerLet's be quite honest both companies were producing great shows. But During that period especially in 1999 wcw lost alot of steam and they were becoming a non-threat. But if there was anytime to be a wrestling fan this was it! I'd say from 1997- mid 1998 wcw was better and from late 1998- 1999 wwe was better. wcw was always better than ecw or wwf!!! the only reason wcw died was because ted turner sold the company to the mcmahon's.ANSWERWWF
Haku..(born February 3, 1959) is a professional wrestler and actor, for both World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). In WCW, he used the name Meng; in the WWF, he used the names King Tonga, King Haku, and Haku
There is ECW, TNA, MONDAY NIGHT RAW, FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN, WCW, AND WWF
In the storyline they said that Shane McMahon had bought Wcw and wanted to do war against his dad's company the Wwf/e, his dad (Vince McMahon) was furious. Few weeks on Wcw started to invade some of Wwf/e matches and took Wwf/e titles. Vince and Shane battled for weeks and weeks. Ecw came in the wwf/e ring one day. Both Father (Vince) and son (shane) agreed to team up and take out Ecw. But that didn't happen instead Wcw teamed up with Ecw and beat up the Wwf/e. This is when the Alliance started it was Wwf/e vs Wcw/Ecw Alliance. weeks went on as they battled. Traitors traited, titles were won and lost. In the end in survivor series they said winner takes all and Wwf/e won as Shane cheated on his own company.
In my opinion WCW was best than ECW and WWF well prbly not since its out of business and all the wrestlers who used to work there said it sucked Answer: During the Monday Night War, the WCW was a better company than WWF for about 1 1/2 years to 2 years according to Nielsen Ratings. After that WWF got much better and simply took over. ECW was nothing more than glorified backyard wrestling with some actual talent to make it look competitive.
Here are the belts he held during his WCW / WWF / WWE time: WCW Tag Team Championship [ 1 time ] WWF Tag Team Championship [ 6 times ] WWF Hardcore Championship [ 1 time ] WWF / WWE Championship [ 4 times ] World Heavyweight Championship [ 2 times ] He also won 4 Slammy awards and also held 2 other titles before his time in WCW.
I think they were some good company at that time. But then wcw and wwf/e got better so they didn't need them. Later on tna withdrew from nwa. now nwa is crappppppppppp!
