Technically, there are still 3, though human mascots Edgar and Allan were retired in 2009. Only Poe remains as the sole human mascot, and he is a fan favorite.
Beginning in 2009, Baltimore included 2 new live Ravens, Rise and Conquer. Both Ravens are kept at the Baltimore Zoo, and are handled on game day by Zoo handlers. They have been specially trained to deal with the large crowds and gameday noise at M&T Bank Stadium, which is considered the loudest stadium in the NFL.
They also require a lot less money than their former human counterparts, and both birds have quickly become fan favorites during home games. My Google+ avatar is a close-up picture of Rise that I took during a game last year.
