I am not sure when this question was posted but conditioning for Cheerleading starts in July and tryouts are usually held once a year at the beginning of August when CMS fall sports begin. Conditioning is not mandatory but highly recommended. All participants must have a current physical and meet the CMS eligibility requirements. Tryouts typically last three days: the fist two days participants learn the material and the third day is for judging. If you have any additional questions, please email the varsity coach at chandice.heath@cms.k12.nc.us or call the school at 980-343-6060. I hope this helps!
In the spring we have cheer leading tryouts. They last two weeks. Twelve girls are chosen to be on the squad.
