If there was no curve to start on not everyone would be running the same distance. The curve has different starting lines on each lane to make sure this is evened out.
most middle schools dont have track but if they do it would start in 8th
3 total miles 4 laps is a mile in any lane if you start in waterfall position and cross no lanes
On a standard 400 meter track, it would be 2800 meters.
If it is 1500m, then it is 1500m, no matter how long the track is. If you mean how many laps, that would be 3.75 laps on a 400m track, and 7.5 on a 200m track.
Track events are running on a track ie. 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and hurdles. For 100m you would run one quarter of the way around the track. Field events are events that don't take place on the track ie. long jump, javelin, shot-put, triple jump and high jump.
That depends on the waterfall. Would not recommend. it.
If it is a rather large waterfall, the water is filling up the bowls in the waterfall till it spills over back into the pool. If you have to keep adding water after using the waterfall it could be a leak in the waterfall itself. If you don't have to add water when the waterfall is not in use and you do when you use it, well, guess what? Probably a leak in the waterfall. If it is a natural rock waterfall look for cracks in the grout between rocks. If artificial rock, look for cracks everywhere.
Track and field meet would seem to fit the bill.
If we're talking about a standard track that measures 440 yards, then the distance traveled would be about 1.57 miles.
The waterfall was a beautiful sight to see.
Yes. If it was moving down the waterfall, it would would have kinetic energy.
