When a penalty corner is taken the defensive team must follow these rules: * Up to 5 members of the team (incuding the goalie if there is one) may be behind the backline and at least 5 metres from the player injecting the ball. * the remaining 6 members of the team must be behind the centre line The attacking team proceeds with 1 player pushing/hitting out from the backline inside the circle and at least 10 metres from the goal, with all remaining attackers outside the circle.
