Tommie Agee's first career multi-home run game was the third of the 1969 season against the Montreal Expos. One of them went halfway up in section 48 of the left field upper deck at Shea Stadium, a feat never matched. The Expos right fielder, Mack Jones, says that the ball was still rising when it made contact with the stands. To honor this home run a sign was placed in the section with Agee's name, uniform number and date.
