What color goggles did Dale Earnhardt Sr. wear?

In 1970, when Dale Earnhardt was 19 years old, his neighbors let him have their 1956 Ford Victoria. His father Ralph built the engine and the friends of the family helped paint it. When they mixed the paint it accidentally came out pink. Since they did not have enough money to repaint the car, it was left that way. Dale drove the pink race car around the local dirt tracks of North Carolina.

Dale First car was a 1956 Ford Victoria Which was painted PINK . They originally had a apricot metalflake roof and they tried matching the roof color on the car and painted the whole car ~ The color came out pink and they didn't have enough $$ to repaint it so it was left Pink ~

The whole race car was pink. The 1956 K-2 Ford was intended to be painted by his family and friends avocado green, but a paint mishap turned the car pink. They did not have the money to repaint the car.
