The pinstripe designs on the Yankees home uniform first made their debut in 1912, the first season with the Yankees name and the first season at the Polo Grounds. For the 1913 and 1914 seasons, the Yankees would abandon the pinstripes for a solid white color. In 1915, the pinstripes were back for good, still present today on the Yankees home uniform.
