A four-speed Jerico transmission. NASCAR doesn't mandate gear ratios, and it's very easy to change the gear cluster in a Jerico: crawl in the car, remove a plate in the floor over the trans, remove a cover plate on the trans, pull two pins, lift out the old cluster, insert the new one and the pins, replace the two covers and send the driver back on the track. It's been done during races.
