The cleats can be rubber or metal but if metal the metal has to b rounded so u can't spike someone badly and the color has to be at least 50% of your teams dominant color (example- Los Angeles Dodgers would be blue) but the cleats can be any brand
yes there is no rule on that.
Cleats for little league players use plastic cleats
Yes
yes, metal cleats are completely legal in pony league.
in soccer you are not allowed to have a toe cleat. therefore, soccer cleats have no toe cleat and baseball cleats do. there are also more subtle differences but that's the major one.
For youth Baseball it probably doesn't make that much difference, but for adult baseball (high school ball and higher), metal baseball cleats are allowed and are more effective than plastic football cleats. Plus, they don't wear down as easily.
Baseball cleats have toes and soccer cleats don't
no one is going to complain in little league
Yes, metal cleats are allowed in every middle and high-school.
baseball cleats have meal spikes on the bottom
There is no difference. The only difference there MIGHT be is the bottom of the cleat. You can have METAL or MOLDED cleats. There are softball cleats that are metal but the majority of the time the baseball cleats TEND TO BE metal and softball cleats TEND TO BE molded. BUT, metal cleats are allowed in softball, made for softball, AND VISE VERSA. SO IT REALLY WOULDN'T MATTER WHAT CLEATS YOU BOUGHT.
"Football cleats give you more support in the midsole than soccer or baseball cleats," says Joseph Skiba, equipment manager for the New York Giants. "This helps with lateral movement and with things like taking hits or making tackles." With a sturdier feel than a soccer cleat, football cleats keep your feet and ankles from turning. This allows for quick movements and helps keep your feet under you when tackling, blocking or taking hits. So it's probably fine to wear football cleats for baseball or soccer, but you shouldn't wear baseball or soccer cleats for football.
