His training regimen is EXTREMELY demanding. He practices 11 or 12 times per week. And if the math doesn't quite add up, well let me introduce to you the concept of morning practice. Phelps swims at least once every day (including Sunday), and 4 or 5 times a week he has a second practice that day, about 50 miles each day. That's amazing, right!!?
