The NFL pays for the cost of 150 rings to be given out by the winning team. The team may award those rings to whoever they desire. All the NFL teams have people that work with statistics and if the team believes those folks deserve a ring, they can award one to each of them. If the team wants to award more than 150 rings, they must pay all the rings over the 150 limit.
