It depends on what type of Skateboarding you are going to be doing. Do not buy the cheapiest ones that you find because they are dangerously designed. Go to your local shop and ask for a blank deck that is sized properly to you. You can also visit http://www.skateboardinguniversity.com and go through the first course that they have all about the proper and best skateboard equipment!

∙ 13y agoIt depends on your shoe size and height and weight if you wear a size 7.5 in mens to 12 and are about 5'5 to 6'0 get a 7.75. If you are around 5'0 to 5'4 and wear a size 2 to 7 get a 7.5.If you wear a size 12.5 and up you should be looking for a board 8.0 and higher

the complete boards come with the crappiest parts (bearings, trucks,wheels)
1.look for a nice deck you like
2.if you're planning on sliding, get orangatang wheels, if not doesnt really matter
3.bearings-ceramic bones if u have money to spend (they can go through rain)
4.and trucks theres different types and sizes go research
