I would think that Drew Brees is a good role model because he is a very successful football player in the National Football League. He has great relationships between his family and his teammates with many friends and everything that he has also. You should do more research on his successes in life and that would tell how great of a role model he is. Plus, he is a role model for having several charities.

He's also impressive as a role model for the way he's handled and overcome adversity, both personally (his mother's 2009 suicide) and professionally (potentially career-ending injury). The man doesn't seem to know the meaning of "give up." Bravo!

Well, Drew Brees has more than one nickname. Three of them are "Cool Brees", "Hurricane Drew", and "Doggy". "Cool Brees" is an obvious nickname due to his last name being Brees and others thinking he is so cool; therefore, they went for the play on words. "Doggy" is one he received in high school because of his tendency to play Snoop Doggy Dogg's music while pulling up in his car at school so it just stuck. As for Hurricane Drew, I think that one is recent and has to do with the fact that he plays for the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans was devastated by a hurricane and it may be a play on that tragedy in an upward attitude stating that instead this time New Orleans has the hurricane that will do devastation to others' teams. That and it may deal with Hurricane Andrew. Andrew is Drew Brees' real name and many know the damage that particular hurricane left behind. These are only the three nicknames I know of.
