Energy once used can hardly be used again, this would defy thermodynamics. Probably what is meant is renewable energy, which covers solar and wind power, tidal and hydro power, geothermal, and biomass. These are all (except geothermal) driven by the power we receive from the sun, and therefore won't fail to be renewed, though they may vary from year to year and century to century.

What is the definition of reusable resource?

A reusable resource is a resource that you can reuse , however a natural resource is something that is found in nature, is use full and or help full to humans and is also reusable so that means that you can use it more than once. An example for a natural resource is a forest or the trees in the forest.

Is petroleum a renewable or nonrenewable?

For a while, yes. Long term, no. It is a non-renewable resource, and so we have to switch over to alternative energy sources.

Why do you say renewable energy resource it energy cannot be created nor destroyed?

You are right: In that sense the term "renewable energy" is a misnomer. What renewable energy simply means is that you can continue using it for a long, long time.

What do you call a resource that people can use again and again?

In term of resource management is called depleting resource.

Should you capitalize the term resource room?

Yes. It should be Resource room.

What are the condition for a substance to be called a resource?

A resource is something that we can use over and over again. For instance, sunlight (solar energy), wind energy, and the tides (tidal energy) are such resources. If we cut down mature soft wood or hard wood trees, and then replant new trees for the (long term) future, that is arenewable resource.A non-renewable resource is coal, natural gas and crude oil. Once used there is no natural replacement.

How is sunlight a renewable energy?

The Sun is a renewable resource because not matter what we do with the rays that hit the Earth, they will continue to come for billions of years. What? BY definition, the sun has limited mass which is not renewed to any significant extent. No. The sun is *not* renewable. We may consider solar energy to be renewable in that it will continue to strike the earth for many millions of years into the future, but in fact, the sun's energy is finite, and is not renewed.

Difference between renewable and flow resources?

In term of resources, renewable energy is the resource replenish-able or can regrown to replace the depleted resource such as biomass. Some energy source, such as wind or sunlight will always pass by but not readily deposited for our use and must be use at site that is the flow resources. The them flow resources is not widely use in the energy sector per my knowledge, in current case, it is still considered solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy a renewable energy.

Why is it important to know whether a resource is renewable or nonrenewable?

1.) Because it determines whether or not investing in this particular resource will be practical in the long term. For example, uranium is NOT a renewable resource, which is why fission nuclear energy which uses uranium won't be around too long if only Earth's uranium is used. 2.) Because your homework depends on it.
