Noted players key to Value

The Baseball will have a higher value if sold locally. The key to the value will rely on the signatures of any ballplayer that made it to the big leagues. You would have to do some home work, and find any noted players that signed the ball. Then a more accurate value can be placed on the ball. Signatures of ballplayers early in their career can carry a premium.

What is the value of a 1949 baseball signed by Larry Berra?

The value of multi signed baseballs cannot be priced by the value of each signature added up. Multi signed baseballs are valued as a group of signatures, and how desired that group is as a whole. This does not necessarily mean that two signatures will sell for less than one, but in most cases it does, or at least not the full value of the two signatures added up. A Yogi Berra single signed baseball is worth about $65.-$120. A Sparky Lyle single signed baseball is worth between $20.-$25. The value of a Yogi Berra Sparly Lyle dual signed baseball should be between $50. - $65. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. Add for inscriptions.

What is the value of a 1961 National League Warren Giles commissioner baseball signed by Ty Cobb?

Ty Cobb Single Signed BaseballA Ty Cobb Single Signed Baseball is worth about $5,000.-$8,000. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. A pristine example of Ty Cobb's signature and baseball could sell Higher than $10,000. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. The 1961 National League Warren Giles baseball would be a prefered baseball for the signature but, it would not add value as the bulk of the value will rely on the condition and display of the signature. A baseball from Cobbs playing days might add value. In a recent auction a Ty Cobb Single Signed OAL (Harridge) Baseball sold for $5,078.75 Inscription will sell at a higher price if not personalized. I have found a lot of baseballs dated by Ty Cobb, and one signed and Inscribed "July 16 1949" sold for $11,950.00.

What is the value of a 1949 World Series program signed by Cy Young and Jackie Robinson?

A 1949 New York Yankees World Series program played at Yankee Stadium is worth about $175.-$200. in excellent - near/mint condition. A 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series program played at Ebbets Field is worth $200.-$250. A Cy Young Jackie Robinson signed 1949 WS Program regardless of which, would probably sell in the neighborhood of $1,500. or more. There is no relation of Cy Young to the 1949 World Series and would not make a desirable item to display the signature, and could keep the price down. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signatures. As with all collectibles, condition is the most important factor of all providing that the item is authentic. With programs/scorecards the slightest flaws will bring the price down significantly. An exceptional mint condition scorecard could sell for more.

What is the value of a 1949 Boston Red Sox team signed home run baseball hit by vern Stevens?

A 1949 Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: McCarthy, Doerr, Parnell, and Williams is worth about $200. -$350. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. Without being able to prove that the baseball was hit for a home run by Vern Stevens the baseball could have a lower value based on condition. A clean white baseball would be most prefered for the signatures. Any signs of the baseball being used in a game, such as soil, or scuffs will devalue the grade of the signatures. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less.
