There are many factors that can impact the value of a sports collectible including its condition. The value of a football autographed by the entire 1973 Green Bay Packers team in the original box is approximately 200 USD.
Ours just sold at auction for $425
The value of this football is whatever someone else is willing to pay - this holds true for any clooectable item. The real value is what it is worth to you the owner
An Ahman Green autographed football doesn't hold a very high value compared to some players. On average, you can sell one for $80 to $100.
The 1964 Green Bay Packers autographed drinking glass in excellent condition sells for $80 to $90. The glass is 5.5 inches tall, and is fairly rare.
The value (if properly authenticated by expert analysis and league forensics) is just north of $125000.00 US dollars. Of course, that assumes that the 1978 air is still inside the ball; air post-1978 devalues the ball by $124995.
I think you may have included a bad year (1982). He was a member of the Packers from 1956-1971. If it truly is a 1982 ball, he may have signed it at "Bart Starr" day, but if it's not an actual game ball from his era, the value will be lower. Bart Starr was the coach that year.
I saw a Green Bay Packers signed football on Antiques Roadshow about 6 months ago (that would be around Aug 2007) and it was apprasied for about 6,000 dollars. I found it very interesting because I have a GBP footballl from 1967 as well that I won at a football convention in 1967 in Wichita Kansas when I was playing Pee Wee football. With the Packers in contention now for the 2008 Superbowl (I'm writing this 14 Jan 2008) I am sure that 'our' footballs are worth more. For more info go to PBS Antique roadshow and do a search!
The value of a 2007 team-signed Green Bay Packers football varies, depending on its condition and whether the ball was actually signed, or just stamped. A signed ball in good condition could fetch between $150 and $300.
Faded autographed signatures on a football cannot be restored. Writing over the existing signature is going to take away value from the football.
An Official NFL football costs around $100.00. An autographed one would be worth more.
What would the value be on a superbowl one ball signed by team and vince lambardi?
