Babe only hit one home-run in All Star game history. That ball has been lost for 70+ years (or at least hidden away somewhere), but lots of folks have talked about it over the last century. In 1933, it wasn't a really big deal, because nobody knew that this new "All Star" idea would become the mid-summer classic that it is! Of all the different pieces of Ruth memorabilia floating around out there, this would definitely be one of the most phenomenal! Especially if you actually have a ticket stub that would corroborate just where you were sitting during the game, as Ruth's ball is known to have flown over the right field fence into the lower deck at old Comiskey. If the ball actually has all that great provenance, this is going to be an amazing discovery. This Babe Ruth 1933 All Star Game home run baseball sold at auction in 2006 for $805,000. I do not know if the ball was signed by the Babe. Either way there is only one ball and that is the value. A 1933 All-Star game full Ticket played at Chicago's Comiskey Park is worth about $450. and about $225. -$275. for a Ticket stub. Condition is important. Rips, creases, and fading could bring the price down significantly. With ticket stubs if the stub was not torn cleanly it will effect the price as will if the stub was stapled to program (holes) which was a common practice. The article would add value to the ticket, and sold alone might only fetch about $5. The more complete the newspaper with the article the more valuable. As a complete package I'm sure the ticket stub, and article would be thrown in for $805,000. If you owned this Baseball I guess you know the answer by now.

A Babe Ruth single signed baseball in general is worth about $6,000.-$10,000. Value may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. If the signature is not properly authenticated the signature could sell at half the market value or less.

The historic value of such a baseball would over-ride the value of the signature. If Babe Ruth's first home run ball was recovered it would be sitting in the hall of Fame. I have never heard of this baseball being on the market, and it might not exist. Keep in mind when Babe Ruth Hit his first home Run, he hit it as a rookie pitcher for the Boston Red Sox in 1915. He was not the legendary home run hitter yet. If the HR baseball was retrieved for "the Babe" he might have traded it for a couple of hot dogs. If the baseball did exist, with the proper provenance, it would have enormous value. Other noted (unsigned) Home run balls (year sold) sold for as follows: Babe Ruth 1933 All Star Game - $805,000 (2006)

Hank Aaron 755th - $650,000 (1999)

Barry Bonds 73rd of season - $450,000. (2001)

Mickey Mantle 500th - $144,000. (1996)

Barry Bonds 700th - $102,000 (2005)

Barry Bonds 70th of season - $14,400 (2007) NOTE: This ball previously sold for $60,000 and it was recently valued at about half that amount. Steroid suspicions are hampering the value of collectibles from more recent years.

Ken Griffey Jr. 500th (2004) - Frank Thomas 500th (2007) $0 (both given back to player by fan)

I did not find any closed auction for a Babe Ruth single signed ticket. but being compatible in value with a photo the value should be in the $3,000.-$4,000. price range. value may vary based on condition, the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature, and how well the ticket displays the signature. Signatures that are not authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. In a few recent auctions a signed 3 x 5 photo sold for $5,377.50. a large 17 x 21 fountain pen signed photo with inscription sold for $23,900. The average photo sold for about $3,000. - $4,000 A 1926 World Series ticket stubfrom Game 5, signed by fourteen members of the American League champion New York Yankees that included the signatures of: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Miller Huggins, Tony Lazzeri, Earle Combs, sold for $2,900.00. A single signed Babe Ruth Ticket will sell for more. The ticket stub with 14 signatures looked like a mess. It took me a couple of minutes to locate the Babe Ruth signature, and it was a poor display as well. I gave up looking for the Lou Gehrig signature. How the signature stands out in contrast to the ticket will effect the value as well. Condition of the ticket is also important on the value of the signature, and even slight flaws will bring the price down. Common flaws include creases, rips, and badly torn ticket stubs. If you have a full ticket it will add value.

This Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, multi signed All Star baseball could include "others" Frank Frisch, Chuck Klein, Chick Hafey, Bill Terry, Paul Waner, Pie Traynor, Gabby Hartnett, Carl Hubbell, and Lefty Gomez . Connie Mack and John McGraw served as managers and their signatures will effect the value as well. Condition of the baseball and signatures are the most important factor of all providing that the signatures are authentic. The bulk of the value will rely on the condition of the Babe Ruth, and Lou Gehrig signatures as well as their placement on the ball. If the two signatures can be view together when displayed it will have a higher value. Similar signed baseballs from this era are typically in bad shape or in less than excellent condition. The 1933 signed All Star game baseball could be worth in the $8,000. - $15,000. price range in general, with a baseball in excellent condition or better selling up to $25,000. for a baseball with pristine signatures. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less
