According to the collector's price guide, "Team Baseballs," your ball is worth between $225-300, with value being greater or lower depending on exact players present - in particular, the inclusion or exclusion of Hall of Famers of Lou Brock and Bob Gibson - plus the all-important overall condition of the ball and Autographs. Other key factors include type of ball (is it an "Official National League" ball?), whether there are any "clubhouse signatures" (autographs signed for players by ballboys, attendants, etc), and total number of signatures present. These factors, plus the authenticity of the all the significant signatures are the main variables in determining value. With autographs, a picture is truly worth the proverbial thousand words, and can save alotta time in the authentication, appraisal, and selling process.

Apples (1963) & Oranges (1964)The first thing you need to do is figure out what year the baseball is from. There is a big difference in price between a 1963 team signed baseball and a 1964 baseball. In 1964 the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series. Team signed baseballs of teams that won the world Series typically sell at a higher price than other years.

A 1963 St. Louis Cardinals team signed baseball with the key signatures: Musial, Boyer, White, Gibson, and Groat is worth about $300.-$650.

A 1964 St. Louis Cardinals team signed baseball with the key signatures: Boyer, White, Brock, Gibson, McCarver, and I must be in the front row Uecker is worth about $675.-$1,000. Recently a 1964 St. Louis Cardinals Team-Signed Baseball sold at auction for $1,011.

Prices are based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable.

You may find prices for team signed baseballs on my website. The team signed baseball price guide includes a list of key players as well as links to full team rosters year by year to help you figure out what year your baseball is from. I will provide a link on this page for your convenience. Prices will be updated as auction results are recorded. so check back soon.
