Sidney Crosby
My sheer wood signed stick went on ebay for an amazing 11,000 $ cus it was from his rookie year
It depends on the brand of card and the year it came out...His rookie year was 2005-2006. For example if you have his upper deck ice card from that year it is booked at $3500.
I'd have to say it's because Sidney Crosby has been way more impressive in his career so far. You don't hear about Ovechkin a whole lot any more cause he isn't doing anything spectacular. Crosby on the other hand, became the youngest captain to win the the Stanley Cup, he has won a gold medal with Team Canada in the Olympics, and when he stays healthy, Crosby puts up more points than Ovechkin.
It depends on what company and how rare the card(s) is. I got a card pack that featured him in it and it was only about $2. If the ratio is extreamly high when it is compared to normal hockey player cards, the price will be higher because there are only so many prints of the exact card. Hope this helps.
play hockey for what ever team that drafted them
There was no hockey cards made in his rookie year.
It depends on what card it is. For an example, retired player cards are worth more. An autographed Wayne Gretzky rookie card would be worth much more than an autographed Sidney Crosby rookie card. If you just want a pack from stores they are worth 2-10$. If you're selling at a yard sale maybe 20-50 cards for 1$, yet again depending on the player.
Brad Boyes was the third highest scoring rookie in the 2005-06 regular season, which was the first season played after the NHL lockout. Boyes finished with 26 goals and 43 assists for 69 points, behind Alexander Ovechkin's 106 points and Sidney Crosby's 102 points.
This is a very difficult question to answer. Going on statistics alone, Crosby is no where near Gretzky and is not even the best player from his rookie year. Most people believe that as of right now Lemeuix, Messier, Sakic, or Francis are the best players since Gretzky
