The sets of Baseball Series Bobble Heads were made from 1960-1971. Not part of any particular series Major League teams continued to sell Bobble head dolls at Stadium souvenir shops. The first major League team to have a Bobble Head Stadium give away were the SF Giants. In 1999 the Giants gave away 20,000 Willie Mays Nodders' The Minnesota Twins had four Bobble Head give away in 2000, Kilebrew, Hrbek, Oliver, and Pucket and are given the credit for starting the bobble head craze of today. If you have a Bobble head from 1974 chances are it was a stadium souvenir. Price would be determined by which team, in general anywhere between $150.-250. For more information I will leave links to a Stadium souvenir bobble head, and other bobble heads.

Gold base series of Bobbing HeadsThe Gold base series of Bobbing Heads was the last one issued in the 1960's. They were sold from 1966 through 1971. This series saw the movement of several franchises and the addition of some expansion teams. There are 27 team dolls and an additional player doll- Willie Mays with number 24 decal on back.

The Philidelphia Phillies Bobble head doll "boy face" has a book value of about $125. -$150. in near/mint - mint condition.

Condition is important. Cracks, chips, color fading, yellowing, worn decals, and paint flaking will bring the value down significantly.
