A 1961 New York Yankees souvenir baseball with stamped signatures is worth about $75 - $125. in excellent -near/mint condition. Baseballs in lesser condition will lower the value significantly. These souvenir baseballs have been a fan favorite for decades. This is one of the first souvenirs kids get when they go to their first Major league game, and for Decades they also Played with them. (not as much today). Most of them have been used to submission, or the signatures faded over the years. But the few that make it through the years are very desirable. See related links for more information, and pictures of a 1961 New York Yankees souvenir baseball.
There is some value to the ball, assuming it can be authenticated as used in the last NYY game from 1961. Autographed by Maris would be even better but, alas, that is now impossible. Please send me an email so we can discuss further. There may be significant value depending solely on the provenance of this ball - in other words, the "who, what, when and where" of its history and how it was obtained. All information documenting the assertion its from Maris' record-breaking game would only enhance its value. Please drop me a line at stockyard2000@aol.com to discuss its value further.

A 1961 blank what?????
The Twins first year was 1961 the year after the Washington Senators (1901 -1960) moved to Minnesota. Facsimile or "printed" signature souvenir baseballs from the 1960's typically sell between $25.-$50. depending on condition and the team, and as high as $100. as with a 1961 Yankees Facsimile Souvenir baseball that features Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris. Because it is the first year of the Minnesota Twins, in near/mint condition the souvenir baseball will probably sell higher than other Twins baseballs from the same era. possibly around $30. -$40. For more information I will leave a link below for a 1961 Yankees facsimile baseball.
You must mean Topps. Upper Deck's first set was 1989 baseball.
