The 1931 World Series featured the St. Louis Cardinals (4) and the Philadelphia Athletics (3) For a ticket stub from the St. Louis Cardinals played at Sportsman's Park the stub is worth about $200.-$300. For a ticket stub from the Philadelphia Athletics played at Shibe Park the stub is worth about $175.-$275. Prices are based on ticket stubs in excellent to near/mint condition. flaws such as rips, creases, and dull color will bring the price down. One of the most prized signatures in the hobby a Babe Ruth single signed baseball in general is worth about $6,000.-$10,000. Value may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. The type of baseball will also effect the price with an Official American league baseball from Ruth's playing days being of the most value as a baseball from 1926.

A baseball in poor condition with a weak signature could sell in the $4,000. price range or less, and a minty baseball with a strong signature could sell in the $15,000 price range or more. But with all said the strength of the authenticity that accompanies the signature will hold the bulk of the value.

A signature with the quotation marks around "Babe" that typified his pre-1928 autograph will sell at a higher value as well.

If the signature is not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less.

Photo Pennants are very popular with collectors. A 1968 Detroit Tigers World Series Picture Pennant is worth about $175.-$250. in excellent -near/mint condition. As with all collectibles condition is important, especially with the photo. These photos are typically creased. Common flaws with pennants are missing ties, pin holes, frying, creases, and "crackling" on the printing. Any or all of these flaws will degrade the pennant significantly, and lower the value. Sometimes people will trim down a pennant to rid it of the frying or other flaws like a flat tip (point) Caused by being pinned up and ripped off. Doctored pennants, a term used to describe a pennant that has been altered to cover up a flaw, is a practice that is frowned upon among the collecting community, and could sell for less than a pennant with the flaws it was meant to cover up. 1942 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Black BatYou might have what is called a World Series Black Bat. The World series "Black Bat" was given to participating players, and dignitaries from teams in the world series. They have facsimile signatures of the entire team in gold on a dark black ebony bat. Names in script for Hillerich & Bradsby endorsees and block letter for non endorsed players.

"Black Bats" are highly sought after in excellent to near mint condition. Any grade lower will devalue the price considerably. A 1942 St. Louis Cardinals Black Bat is worth about $750. - $1,000.

This is the bat I was looking to buy. Around 15 years ago the bat was worth $350. Nowadays it is less. By the way it is very unique and given to the executives and players only.

What is the value of a mint blow up seat cushion from the 1972 73 74 World Championship and is it rare?

Vintage 1970's era stadium seat cushions in general sell for about $10.-$25. The Oakland A's had emerged as one of baseball premiere dynasties in the 1970's winning the World Series in 1972,1973, and 1974. The three seat cushions you have commemorating the three world championship years should hold higher value. The stadium seat cushions might be rare but so would a collector of seat cushions. The bulk of the value will rely on the fact that they are World Championship souvenirs. I left a link below for Miscellaneous Baseball Collectibles. Check it out for similar items.
