Bases are different distances apart at different levels of play in Baseball. Here is how you can find the distance across the diamond (home to second, or first to third) on any field:
What is the distance between bases?
Square that answer (multiply it by itself).
Double that answer.
Find the square root of that answer.
The answer you get will be the distance from home to second or from first to third.
According to MLB.com, "the distance between first base and third base is 127 feet."
Because it is a longer throw from third to first and the first basemen is more likely to miss the ball
Throw the ball back to the pitcher. A batter can not advance on a dropped third if first base is occupied.
press z on the nunchuck
It's pretty close to 90 feet also.
That ball would be considered foul. For a ball that passes first or third base to be fair, it must be between the baselines when it passes first or third base.
If the ball lands foul past first or third base the ball is foul regardless of where it rolls. If the ball lands foul before first/third base and rolls fair before first/third base, the ball is fair. If the ball lands foul before first/third base and rolls foul past first/third base, the ball is foul. If the ball is touched while it is in foul territory before reaching first or third base it is considered foul and vise versa if it is touched in fair territory. Otherwise whether it is fair or foul is determined by where the ball stops. ** if the ball hits any part of 1st or 3rd base it is a fair ball

yes
Let's say that you're the batter/runner in this situation and I'm in the field. You hit the ball to third base and take off for first. I get the ball and through to first. You beat the ball to first but you miss the base. I would have to get you out by tagging you. If you go to second and I don't tag you, then I believe the pitcher can throw to first on the next pitch (As if he is picking off) and you will be out.
That depends. If it hits the line past first or third base it's a fair ball. Whether or not that's good depends on if your team is batting or in the field. If it hits the line before first or third base is may or may not be a fair ball depending on when it was touched by the fielder or the ball's location when it passes first or third base
That depends on whether a runner is forced to vacate a base when a ground ball is hit. If there is a runner on first base and a ground ball is hit, the runner is forced to run to second base because the batter is running to first base. If there is also a runner on second base, that runner is forced to run to third because the runner from first is running to second. If a runner is not forced to run, they do not have to. If there are runners on first base and third base and a ground ball is hit, the runner at first is forced to run to second because the batter is running to first. But the runner on third is not forced to run because no runner is running to third base from second base.
That would depends on where they field the ball. Howeverthe distance from the 3rd base bag and the 1st base bag is just under 85 feet.
