The flag pole height should be in proportion to the flag. It's not the same in all countries. So if you have a big flag pole you must have a big flag. Think about it. A super high flag pole with a tiny flag. How stupid would that look.
Anywhere from 6' to 8' in height is acceptable for a lamp post height, but most common is the 6' range, where the lamp area is easily accessible to bulb or wick change.
Not only height but position angle and possibly even type of lamp should be dictated by the house. No one wants a midnight suntan from some lamp shining in the bedroom window.
I don't think there is one.
The standard height of the rim is ten feet, but nobody cares how high the pole is, as long as it's at least high enough to put the rim at ten feet.
that depends entirely on the size of the lamp post

to house the lamp

go to the store buy a lamp, put in you house and there you are!
probably to measure a lamp depending on if its a desk lamp or a stand up lamp, if you use a stand up lamp, i would suggest using either feet or inches
the trick to finding the right size lampshade for your lamp is to measure the base of the lamp, times it by the height and the divide it by the width. this answer will be the diameter of your lampshade.
80inches
With a tape measure.
There is no mandated distance when it comes to how far a lamp post must be installed from your home. The best way to determine where a lamp post should go is to think about what it will do. If you want to make it easier to see your driveway at night, placing a lamp post or two at the entrance of a driveway would be a great idea.
NO there's not but there is at your house!
