Popular horse racing songs include:

  • The Camptown Races
  • The William Tell Overture (Finale)

At the Kentucky Derby they play "My Old Kentucky Home"

At the Preakness they play "Maryland, My Maryland'

At the Belmont they used to play "The Sidewalks of New York"

Now they play "New York, New York" which is a crappy tune by Sinatra and Lousy Minelli.

I am not sure it is a complete song, as far as I know it is just called "The Call to the Post" a Trumpet fanfare, that signals the horses and riders to approach the gate.
