No b/c evry point is a stroke and you want to have the least amount of strokes on each hole. so say its a par 3 you want 3 strokes on that hole at the most, if you can do it in less great.
A California man, Norman Manley has had 59 hole in ones. This is considered the most.

Theoretically, the "highest" score (and thereby the worst possible score) is infinite. In practice, most amateurs limit a hole's score to 10 strokes, making the maximum carded score (score written on a score card) 180 (or +108 on a par-72 course).
