7 runs. By the San Francisco Giants in game two of the World Series in 2010!
That was the 1st and the 4th where 8 runs combined were scored in each inning.
Reggie Jackson and Paul Molitor share the record for most runs scored in World Series history with 10.
Mickey Mantle with 42 runs scored in 12 World Series.
Craig Counsell on a single in the bottom of the 11th inning by Edgar Renteria.
There were no grand slams in the 1983 World Series. Indeed, only one inning in that entire series had so many as three runs scored in it.
Game 2 of the 1914 World Series. Boston Braves scored a run in the 9th to beat the Philadelphia Athletics. Game 1 of the 1949 World Series. Yankees scored in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Dodgers. Game 6 of the 1956 World Series. Dodgers scored in the 10th to beat the Yankees. Unbelievably, Game 7 of the 1991 World Series was tied 0-0 going into the 10th inning. Minnesota won the game (and the series) over Atlanta in that inning. There may be others, but I don't have the time or energy to check every game of every series.
