∙ 13y agoThe difference between disease and illness is that a disease is something that can consume your whole body and it is often things like cancer, ALS and many other things. An illness is short lived, often like a cold.
It is considered a disorder, versus being a disease. But it is often referred to as a disease.
A disease, which goes on and on despite treatment. Often it increases or leads to complications.
