β 13y agoThe tallest outfield wall is called the "Arch Nemesis," located at Sovereign Bank Stadium, home of the York Revolution in York, Pennsylvania. The wall is exactly 37 feet, 8 inches tall, making it six inches taller than the famous Green Monster at Fenway Park.

β 15y agoI think that it is Fenway Park (Red Sox) and Comerica Park (Tigers) at 420 feet dead center. MinuteMaid Park in Houston is 435 to dead center.

Well I'm not sure, but i think the rockies own the largest stadium.
Rule 1.04 of the Official Rules states that "It is desirable that the line from home base through the pitchers plate to second base shall run East-Northeast." If all ballparks adhered to this suggestion, then there would be no home plate that faces north. However, one can tell from the variation in shadows between parks in say, Boston, Milwaukee, and San Francisco, that there are definite variations in the placement of the field. It would take a survey of the 30 major league ballparks to determine if any of them face north.
