∙ 14y agoThe goal post are now, as of 1991, 18'6" high...and 23'4" across!
The posts in 1991 were changed from a width of 23'4 to 18'6. The height has always been 10 feet. Before 1959 the posts were 18'6 in width. I am sure early on the dimensions were all over the place.
