A good time for an 11-year-old girl is anywhere around 15 and 16 seconds and possibly a little faster for a boy. However, speeds of over 13 seconds can be reached for both genders if you are talking about a very good runner. Most achieve over 20 seconds.
well I'm 12 and the fastest in my division and I can get 11.34 secs. on the 100m
My Brother did 10.41 seconds at 13.
15 seconds would probably be good for a 10 year old, or maybe in the 14s.
Rashad Abdallah at 10.93 for the Chula Vista Flyers
It depends on the child. If hes fast or slow. If you average 15 mph in a 100m sprint then your time will be 14.91 seconds. That's pretty impressive if a 5 year old can run that fast.
9.58 seconds By Usain Bolt of Jamaica.
The national record for U.S.A ages 15-16 is 10.54.
9.93 by Yohan Blake, Jamaica
For an 8 year old the 100m is not a sprint; it is an endurance event. Any child, male or female, who can out run their fellow children aged 8 will most likely become a very good middle distance runner when older. Basically, sprint times run at this age are meaningless. Taking part and trying to win is all that matters to kids of this age.
Not sure exactly but around 1 minute flat. There have been many girls near the top of the world in swimming at around 15 years old so the fastest ever will be quite fast.
