Sports then were mainly dangerous and vicious games, it wasn't for excersise and keeping healthy. It was mainly a challenge and all about the win. Even to a certain extreme, it could mean deaths! Where as now, it's a hobby, what people enjoy! Safety is also a key in modern sports. The rules only allow an injury, not a death. Certain sports is almost impossible to be injured, where as others, risks are high! However in Tudor Sports it doesn't matter how safe you could have played your game, there would have always been an injury, and focusing on game rules. A death.
