The best skateboard brands are all based on one's preference. Some of the best brands include Girl, Plan B, Chocolate, Enjoi, Almost, Zero, Habitat, Baker, Cliche, Foundation, & Alien Workshop.

for wheels, get bones, spitfire, better, and ricta

for trucks, get tensor, thunder, venture, royal, and destructo

for bearings, get bones swiss, reds, lucky, or pig

for a beginner i recomend a shop made board as they are cheap and normally just as good.

when you want something a bit better or have destroyed that one i recomend element skateboards. they are quite different to shop made ones ane take a while to get used to. (don't expect to ollie just as high as you can normally on your other board on the first day). as you get used to the board you can eventualy ollie higher than normally even in the first week.
