The best ball to use with forged irons are highly quality premium balls. Such as Taylormade TP and Penta TP, Callaway iX, Srixon Z star, Titleist Pro V 1 and Pro V 1 x, and Nike One Tour. You don't have to use one of these balls, but as the irons are so soft, using a softer ball enhances feel.
