I've always worn Cecilia Kerche. They last pretty long and are quite comfortable. But everyone's feet are different, and you should always get professionally fitted for your pointe shoes. Good luck !

When you are picking out pointe shoes, it doesn't always need to be about the brand that they are. It doesn't matter how much they cost either. As long as they are not too big (it is better for them to be too small than too big) and as long as they feel good and your toes aren't crowded, they are a "good brand"! For me, I love Russian Pointe Shoes the most-- but that is only because they fit well!

I think that capizio or bloch are the best. Bloch is more fore starters like ages 10 to maybe 14. If you get capizios for first ones they are problebly going to be uncomfortable. Bloch is more comfortable for the starting shoes.

How much are pointe shoes?

Pointe shoes are quite expensive. They can reach from $50 up to $130. I am a dancer/ballerina myself and mine is $115😅 But it is worth it considering the excitement you feel when you get your pointe shoes (especially your first ones). But remember, you have to get permission from your ballet teacher/coach to go on pointe as pointework is pretty dangerous for inexperienced dancers and dancers with weak ankles.

What pointe shoes do you recommend?

Either Capezio or Bloch. You should visit a place that sells pointe shoes and they should tell you which size and shoe pads to buy. Personally, I hate Capezios, but I love Grishko and Russian Pointe ( actual brand name). Some people say they are the pointe shoes from hell, but I think they are exceptional, and look really professional and elegant on your feet.
