What is the best aluminum bat?

I have a TPX Exo-grid. I have probably hit about 5000+ balls with it, no joke, and it still has great pop. I'd suggest that, or the TPX H2.

As far as brands go, TPX is definitely the one to choose. Those two bats are among the top of the list in TPX bats, and, bats overall.

The BEST fastpitch softball bat right now is the Xeno fp12x. When you hit the ball it sounds like you have just broken glass. A lot of people that see or here the bat might say its against the rules to have. Truth is its not. It is slightly expensive. I think it starts at $300. It is made by Louisville Slugger!

The real answer - it depends - are you a slapper, a power hitter, do you have slow bat speed or fast bat speed. The answers may be balanced, end-loaded, light drops (-11, -12). There isn't a bat that is a magic pill for high school. Your ability to succeed in high school will be based on your ability to read the rotation of the ball, make contact, upper body strength and bat speed. Assuming the talent is there, the men separate themselves from the boys with upper body strength and bat speed.

Don't forget that High school bats are LIMITED to 2 5/8" maximum barrel diameter and a -3 oz weight to length ratio.

There are still "Superbats" available and legal for the 2011 season. Allthough monster composites have already been outlawed, the CF4 and EXOGRID2 can still cover up considerable deficiencies. I would start with one of those.
