Well I think you should make the most of your free throws, because it's very important. Like if you lose by few points and your free throw precent is something like 40% the main reason would be bad free throw shooting. But if you would made like 85% free throws. It would be something else. So I say free throws are good for comebacks and clutch moments.
P.S I'm 13 year old 5"10 feet tall white european from Lithuania. I play at center position and I make about 7/10 free throws. I have improoved over past 2 years.
