What is the story of The Nutcracker ballet?

The Nutcracker is a dance done by many companies. Clara, the lead role is having a party on Christmas Eve. Her Uncle Drosslmire, who is a toy maker, gives Ckara a nutcracker. Late at night, after all the guest have gone home and everyone is in bed, Clara sneeks down stairs to cheak on the nutcracker. She falls asleep on the living room sofa and the evil mice, lead by the rat king come and attack her! The nutcracker then become as young, handsome prince and fights the Rat King. Just as the Rat KIng is about to defeat the Nutcracker prince, Clara throws her slipped at the Rat King and he is killed! The Nutcracker Prince then brings Clara to the land of sweets were the Sugar PLumFairy and many other beautiful dancers preform for Clara and the Prince. Then, Clara wakes up, relizing it was just a dream, and lives happily ever after with her Nutcracker! I am actually working on a sequal to the story, scince my Great Grandfather wrote the music for the original Nutcracker, and this is my 6th year dancing in the Nutcracker.

the Ballet the nutcracker is about a girl Clara that gets a nutcracker doll from her magical great uncle and it comes to life. the nutcracker kills the rat king that tries to hurt Clara then they visit the land of snow and dance with the snow queen and snow fairies. then they enter the land of sweets. they get to meet the sugarplum fairy and she has all of the sweets in the land dance inclaras honor. and then they travel back to claras house. happily ever after! that is atleast how my ballet company does the show. hope this helped!!

Clara (or the lead girl) likes an older boy (Peter) who attends the party that Clara's family hosts. Then Clara get a Nutcracker from her Uncle Drossylmyer put when Clara and her brother Fritz get in a fight over it the Nutcracker breaks. Clara goes to sleep with the Nutcracker and has a dream about huge mice trying to kill her but then the Nutcracker comes to the rescue and magically turns into Peter. Then they go around a magical world.

A little girl's (Clara) family is having a Christmas party, and many of her friends and family are coming over. She is very excited, and much dancing, music, and happiness is involved in this energetic party. She receives a nutcracker from her favorite uncle, Drosselmeyer, and leaves under the tree when it is time to go to bed. But she can't stop thinking about this new toy, so she goes and gets it and falls asleep on the couch. Then her long and imaginative dream starts with rats and the Rat King tickling her awake, and threatening her dangerously. Everyone shrinks to toy sizes. At the last moment, her beloved Nutcracker arrives and saves her from the evil Rat King. A huge battle commences, and toy soldiers come in to help the Nutcracker. The Nutcracker is killed, but not before Clara kills the Rat King with a pointe shoe. Clara sobs next to the dead Nutcracker as he comes to life as a real boy! He and Clara then quickly fall in love, and he invites her to travel with him to the Land of Sweets. As they travel, snow falls and dances around them. When they arrive, the Sugar Plum Fairy greets them, along with the wide variety of sweets. Clara watches in amazement as Chinese Fortune Cookies, Flowers and their Dew Drop, Candy Canes, Bon Bons, Mirlitons, Arabian, Spanish and other groups dance for her. Finally the Sugar Plum and her Cavalier perform an jaw dropping dance for her. Clara then thanks all of the wonderful people of the Land of Sweets while the Nutcracker wheels her away in her sleigh. Clara wakes up to find that her adventure was just a dream and her toy Nutcracker safely in her arms.
