the player that goes in back row only for defense
Libero
A Libero, or Libro.
Well, it depends. If you think that you are a strong back row only player, then you probably could become a libero. All a libero does is basically play the back row middle position. If you are playing a 6-2, then there will only be 2 players in the back row, so the libero will have to fill in for that 3rd missing player. Basically, the libero watches anything that comes to the back and most of the time watches deep for the serves and volleys.
It is a "Libero" which is a main defense player.

In volleyball, the libero player wears a different colored jersey. The libero is a defensive specialist who can freely substitute in and out of the game without counting towards the team's substitution limit. The unique uniform helps officials and players easily identify the libero on the court.
I play volleyball and volleyball does not have a player from another team. What you are referring to may be the libero. The libero is a player that wears a jersey different from the ones that the rest of the team wears. They wear it to show that they can substitute in for any player in the back row of the court at anytime.
